The Trading Journal is where you close the loop on every session. It combines session-level notes and self-scoring with a 30-day performance dashboard, a trading calendar, a blindspot tracker, and a view of how well the agents’ calls correlated with real outcomes. Open it from the Consilium workspace using the Performance tab in the main navigation.

Session Journal

The Session Journal is the first thing you should fill in after each trading session. It captures how the day actually felt, not just what the P&L says.

What you can log

After you fill in your scores and notes, click Submit to save the entry. The journal does not auto-save — submission is explicit so you can think before you lock in. Once you submit, an AI Summary block appears alongside your notes. This is a concise synthesis of your session data generated by the platform. Use it as a second opinion on what you logged, not as a replacement for your own notes.

Plan Feedback

If you set a trading plan for the day, the Session Journal also shows a Plan Feedback section below your notes — one block per trading window in your plan. This lets you quickly rate how closely you stuck to each window’s thesis and execution rules.
The Discipline Score and Emotional Control fields use a decimal scale (step 0.1). Precision matters here — small drifts accumulate over time and show up clearly in your 30-day trend charts.

Performance Dashboard

The Performance Dashboard gives you a longer view across up to 90 recent journal entries. Switch to it using the Dashboard view toggle at the top of the Performance tab.

Human vs. Agent tabs

Two tabs control which lens you see first:
  • Human — your own performance metrics front and center
  • Agent — the agents’ record front and center, with your metrics below
Both tabs always show all eight KPI cards; the tab just determines the display order.

KPI cards

Heatmaps

Above the KPI grid you’ll find two heatmap cards that show P&L and win-rate density across sessions and instruments. The heatmaps are designed for quick pattern recognition — a cluster of red on a specific instrument or time band is worth noting in your next session journal.

Blindspots

Below the KPI grid, the Blindspots · Before / After row surfaces your recurring mistakes as a two-column view:
  • Current Blindspots — patterns that have been costing you (e.g., “Revenge trading after losses”)
  • Corrective Actions — the paired response you want to bring to the next session (e.g., “Hard stop + 15-min cool-down after any loss”)
Blindspot rows align one-to-one. The left column is diagnostic; the right column is prescriptive. Review this before market open to prime your attention.

Trading Calendar

Switch to the Calendar view to see your P&L laid out on a monthly calendar grid. Each day cell shows whether the session was profitable or losing and links to the day’s history card. The calendar also gives you access to an Equity Curve Drawer — expand it from the calendar view to see your cumulative P&L curve over the visible month.
Use the calendar alongside the Blindspots row at month-end. Clusters of losing days that share a market regime (high VIX, range-bound, post-report chop) often point to a single addressable blindspot.

Day History Cards

Scrolling past the main dashboard panel loads Day History Cards — one per past trading day. Each card shows:
  • Date and weekday
  • Session P&L in dollar terms
  • Instrument close with point and percentage move
  • ER score for that day (see PsychAssist for what ER means)
  • Your session notes (or a placeholder if nothing was logged)
In Agent view, cards show the agent name, proposal count, and win rate for that session instead of your ER score.
Day History Cards are read-only — they reflect the entry as it was submitted. To update a session, go back to the Session Journal for that date and resubmit. The timestamp updates automatically.

Agent Performance Tab

The Agent tab inside Performance gives you a dedicated breakdown of how the agents are performing as a desk, not just in aggregate.
1

KPI summary

Four headline stats at the top: 30-day agent win rate, total decisions made, agent P&L, and the acceptance rate on proposals you were shown.
2

Agent breakdown table

Per-agent rows with their individual win rate, P&L contribution, and proposal volume. Use this to see which agents are adding signal and which need more scrutiny.
3

Proposal tracker

A recent history of proposals — what the agent suggested, whether you accepted it, and what the outcome was. This is the most actionable view for calibrating how much weight to give each agent’s calls.
4

Agent summary panel

A narrative summary of the 30-day agent record, including any notable divergences between agent confidence and actual results.
Agent P&L figures represent what would have happened if you had followed every agent proposal exactly. They are hypothetical and do not account for your actual fill prices, position sizing, or risk management decisions.
